OBJECTIVES

To identify Sikh religion related issues that are not in the best interest of Sikh religion and have harmed or could harm Sikhy. These issues could be from existing practices or new practices that are being developed by various Sikh and non-Sikh institutions. 

To develop the solutions of these issues by having discussion within VSVSI group

To present these solutions to the existing credible grassroots Sikh organizations in USA and Canada and seek their cooperation in resolving the issue(s) and eventually expand this to get the cooperation of credible global Sikh organizations Worldwide.  This will be done by opening communications channels with the main organizers of these organizations

To create an issue related joint platform with these organizations to exert positive influence on main Sikh institutions (e.g., SGPC, DGPC, Akaal Takhat Sahib, Akali Dal etc.) and other related institutions.  This platform will have no intention to interfere in the inner workings of theses grassroots organizations

To act as a watchdog for any future negative activities against Sikh religion
